non-profit status

  • The pink slipper project is not a non-profit organization. In the future, as this project grows, we will apply for non-profit status. For now our goal is to warm the hearts and toes of as many women and children as possible this winter. All donations will be used for the express purpose of providing slippers to women's and children's shelters.

Thank you Jennifer - Cottage Flair for the beautiful "oh so warm" knit slippers!

Cottage-Flair

The day just keeps getting better and better! I woke up today with a smile in my heart and now I know why. The Pink Slipper Project is becoming bigger and even more magical than the girls at Make Mine Pink and I ever imagined. It's been a coming together of women everywhere for the good of others. It makes me smile when I look at all the slippers stacked up in the studio just waiting to be packaged and tagged and shipped to their new home.

This afternoon, I opened a box from one of our own Make Mine Pink members jennifer of Cottage Flair. Jennifer doesn't sew but that didn't stop her! This contribution is from jennifer - handknitted by Carol Annino of Killingworth, CT. Thank you both for your warm contribution.
