I received a big - beautiful box of slippers for the Pink Slipper Project 2010. I'd like to share pictures of some of the 4 dozen slippers and the note that accompanied them.
Dear Joyce,
I have has a lot of fun knitting these assorted children's sized slippers for your Pink Slipper project. I have been able to use up all the left over yarn from my many projects over the years. My daughter in-law, Elizabeth Zoller of Three Cats Crafts has inspired me to knit for this worthy cause. She is always trying to save the world in her quiet unassuming way. Her Christmas list this year is all about others and consists of donations to charitable causes near and dear to her, including your Pink Slipper Project. She asked for so little for herself so as my gift to her I am sending this box of 4 dozen slippers in her name to help "warm hearts and toes" and help fulfill your new challenge. I hope that you will publish this little note when the slippers are posted on your website. I so enjoy checking out the beautiful slippers that have been sent to you.
My sincere wishes to you for a happy holiday season, and to all the women and children who will benefit from your good work. God Bless.
Margaret Zoller.
What a heart warming note to accompany the 4 dozen beautiful slippers. Our project has been blessed to have such generous and caring women such as Margaret and Elizabeth Zoller. Thank you both for playing such a big part in warming hearts and toes this winter.
Many Thanks,
Joyce Lucas
