Join Enchanted Makeovers to create TableScapes of Hope in Kansas City!
The TableScape Challenge at the Society of Decorating Professionals www.thesdp.com (SDP) Annual Conference in Kansas City is now the TableScapes of Hope. Led by Terry Grahl, of Enchanted Makeovers, the event will feature decorators, designers and entrepreneurs working as a team to decorate 60-inch round tables with creative themes designed to reflect each individual's personal stories of hope while designating specific items to be donated to Newhouse (www.newhouseshelter.org), a Kansas City shelter dedicated to providing new beginnings to abused women and their children. The ultimate goal of the event is to create a mini-makeover for the shelter with handmade decorative items such as embroidered pillowcases, journals, and vintage jewelry boxes.
The TableScapes of Hope will be held on March 9 at The Westin Crown Center and will include food and fellowship with the director, staff and residents of Newhouse. Local and national businesses have already stepped forward with donations of food and decorations for the event, along with gifts for the women at Newhouse. Additional donors and decorators are still needed to make the event a success. Please help us share love and hope with the women at Newhouse by joining one of the teams in Kansas City or by donating new or handmade items. Please check the list below for ideas.
