non-profit status

The pink slipper project is not a non-profit organization. In the future, as this project grows, we will apply for non-profit status. For now our goal is to warm the hearts and toes of as many women and children as possible this winter. All donations will be used for the express purpose of providing slippers to women's and children's shelters.

A special thanks to LeAne Finlay for her ongoing support of the Pink Slipper Project.

This is not the first time that LeAne has made slippers for the PSP, but it's the first time that we received them. her first shipment was lost in shipping. Some would have given up at that point, but not LeAne. She continued to make slippers that made it safely to us this time.

I am so glad that the slippers arrived this time. I will continue to knit and crochet as I can. I have tennis elbow in both arms and working through the exercises the doctor gave me. I just can't seem to stop knitting and crocheting to fill my time in the days I'm not watching my granddaughter.
